Who am I?

I am an HCPC registered Clinical Psychologist and an MBCT teacher and I have worked as a clinical psychologist in the NHS for many years. I work with patients and NHS colleagues to support people to live as well as possible despite ongoing physical health problems. I am passionate about care which takes a whole person approach, attending to both physical and emotional health. Through my work, I regularly see the benefits MBCT offers both to those living with challenging physical health problems and to those providing care.

What do I do?

I currently work as a Specialist Clinical Psychologist for Oxford University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust. I have a particular interest in women’s health and I currently work predominantly in a hospital gynaecology department. I am involved in developing, delivering and evaluating mindfulness based interventions for a range of physical health problems. I regularly run MBCT groups for women living with pelvic pain. I also draw on mindfulness based approaches in my individual work with patients and share my knowledge with NHS colleagues.
