SHARING FROM THE OMF

With thanks to academics in the field, we are sharing research with the OMF community.  You can read more from a 2021 paper – Mindfulness meditation training in an occupational setting: Effects of a 12-weeks mindfulness-based intervention on wellbeing by clicking on the image below.

This week we also wanted to share an interesting paper from Gardi et al (2021) – A short Mindfulness retreat can improve biological markers of stress and inflammation. This paper is not open access, but you can read the abstract for free here: https://www.sciencedirect.com/science/article/abs/pii/S0306453021004534?via%3Dihub

This week’s quote comes from Joseph Goldstein’s book Mindfulness: A Practical Guide to Awakening.

This week’s book reading is from Jon Kabat-Zinn’s Full Catastrophe Living. Kindly read by OMF teacher, Makeda McKenzie.
