Welcome to this week’s update: a summary of everything we’ve shared on social media throughout the week.

DAILY SIT SCHEDULE

We will be continuing the daily sit over the festive period with one session a day at 11am UK Time.

SHARING FROM THE OMF

With thanks to academics in the field, we are sharing research with the OMF community. You can read more from a 2022 paper – A preliminary neuroimaging investigation of the effects of mindfulness training on attention reorienting and amygdala reactivity to emotional faces in adolescent and adult females by clicking on the image.

 

This week’s quote comes from Tom Borkevec. Professor Borkevec is Emeritus Professor of Psychology at UPenn and his research focuses on the psychophysiology of anxiety and worry.

TEACH MINDFULNESS

Are you an Mindfulness for Life Teacher interested in teaching the Finding Peace in a Frantic World curriculum? We have a one-day workshop focussing on the Finding Peace Curriculum. For more info and to apply, please click on the image.

New workshop: Mindfulness-informed Cancer Care. This experiential training is for those currently working with people with cancer, who have some experience / interest in mindfulness, and would like to explore what this might offer them and their work.
