Weekly Update 24th September 2022

Weekly Update 24th September 2022

Welcome to this week’s update: a summary of everything we’ve shared on social media throughout the week.

SHARING FROM THE OMF

As part of our increased communications plan, we hope to signpost weekly to free resources, research, and books in the field.  Our intention is to share knowledge of other work in the field and increase our collective understanding of mindfulness.

This week’s quote is a poem from Portia Nelson. You may recognise it if you’ve previously taken an 8-week Mindfulness for Life or Mindfulness for Depression course.

We also highlighted the News section of our website.

One of our Co-Directors, Claire Kelly, reads a piece of knowledge from Rick Hanson. You can listen to Claire reading the passage on YouTube by clicking on the image.

With thanks to academics in the field, we are sharing research with the OMF community. Where possible we will signpost to papers which are not behind a paywall and are free for you to read. Unless otherwise stated, research is independent from the OMF. Our intention is to share work of others in the field and increase understanding of a broad range of research areas within mindfulness.
