Having worked in a deprived school in Brazil, I have witnessed the positive impact Mindfulness has had on the students’ academic performance.  The evening class students are both emotionally and financially needy due to their lack of social standing. These students can not afford to study during the day and therefore are forced to study at night in order to support their families. This can have a detrimental effect on their studies as they often arrive hungry and fatigued. Furthermore, class cooperation is difficult as students range from 16 to 80 years. My aim is to share my knowledge with teachers so that they are able to cater to all learning abilities by teaching students to skillfully deal with their quotidian stress
