• Biography: Since 2020, I have been a teacher of Mindfulness-Based Cognitive Therapy (MBCT), certified at the Oxford Mindfulness Foundation (March 2021). For me, mindfulness is a philosophy of life, a signpost to a good, conscious life, with respect for oneself, other people and nature. I started my life adventure with mindfulness in 2016 with postgraduate studies "Mindfulness and Compassion. Fundamentals, Research and Psychotherapy" at the SWPS University in Warsaw. The next step was the first teacher course in Poland on "Mindfulness-Based Cognitive Therapy (MBCT)", organized in 2019 by the Mindfulness Development Foundation and the Oxford Mindfulness Foundation (or Oxford Mindfulness Centre, as it was known then). Becoming a certified MBCT teacher meant committing to practicing mindfulness on a regular, daily basis. In recent years, I have also completed 4 consciousness-expanding courses conducted by Soto's Zen teacher, Buddhist monk Piotr Kogen Czarnik. I regularly take part in retreats and my teaching work is supervised by specialists from the Mindfulness Development Foundation. My professional path has been related to business for many years. As a manager, leader and mentor, I share with others my experience in managing projects, teams and organizations based on participation and respect for every person. In 2016, I had the pleasure of being a co-creator of the first social campaign in Poland, "Work? I like this!". Privately, I am a mother of two daughters and this role has been teaching me humility and acceptance of constant change and the lack of a sense of control for many years. In my free time, I travel around the world, meeting amazing people and discovering unique places, learning foreign languages and nourishing myself with literature and ambitious cinema. I ride a bike addictively, practice hatha yoga and swim in warm seas and oceans.
