  • Biography: I am a mindfulness practitioner and teacher. I am a certified mindfulness teacher trained with the Oxford Mindfulness Centre. I am also qualified yoga and meditation teacher and Mental Health First Aid. I also completed trainings in Mindfulness Based Approaches for Children in British Mindfulness Institute, as well as Mindfulness Based eating awareness training (MB-EAT) in Adolfo Ibañez University of Chile. I have an academic background in Business and before becoming a mindfulness teacher, most of my working life was spent in a business context, where I specialised in human potential, training & development. Alongside work life, I have been practising meditation since the 1990s, and attended many long retreats both as a retreatant and retreat supervisor. I offer various MBCT curricula in non-clinical settings, Mindfulness for Life, Finding Peace in a Frantic World, Introducing Mindfulness and mindfulness for beginners programs. I run courses in groups and one by one for the general public, as well as professionals in education, and other workplace settings. I also teach mindfulness to athletes and students in educational and youth-based contexts. I own a wellness & mindfulness centre in Santiago de Chile https://www.theratnavalicenter.cl and I am passionate about exploring the embodied mind phenomenon and I believe that through mindfulness we are able to re-establish deep and authentic connection with the world around and within us and thereby navigate more steadily through ever-changing currents of live.
