  • Biography: I am a Mindfulness and Yoga Teacher with a passion for the connection between mind and body for mental health. My journey with yoga began in 2009 in Bangladesh, sparking a lifelong interest in the interplay of physical and mental well-being. In 2020, I completed my mindfulness training with the Oxford Mindfulness Foundation (OMF), further enhancing my expertise in this field. I have also studied with renowned experts David Treleaven and Bessel van der Kolk on trauma, and I am a trained trauma-informed yoga teacher. This specialized training allows me to support individuals in healing and recovery through mindful and compassionate practices. As an expat who frequently relocates to different countries, I have firsthand experience with the challenges and opportunities that come with adapting to new environments. This personal journey inspired my master's degree project on expat adaptation in 2014 at HSLU, Switzerland. My research and experiences have deepened my understanding of how mindfulness can support expats during their transitions, helping them navigate and thrive in their new surroundings. I offer supervision in both Turkish and English, sharing my insights and techniques to foster mindfulness and well-being in diverse communities.
