A review of some of our communications updates from our social media channels this last week.

On Tuesday we sent our first update specifically focused on mindfulness teaching. This marked the commencement of our vision to send updates with specific themes, making it easier for you to decide what you like to read, depending on your areas of interest. If you haven’t yet read the teacher update you can do so by via the button below this text, you will also find a link at the top of the page which allows you to subscribe and receive all of our future newsletters directly to your inbox: https://bit.ly/2C8eyuJ

On Wednesday we took the opportunity to share the above quote from Mindfulness: Ancient Wisdom Meets Modern Psychology, written by Christina Feldman & Willem Kuyken. We will signpost to more resources via our social media feeds and hope that you find these posts both insightful and useful. If there are any particular resources you would like us to share, please do comment on one of our social media channels or email the admin team.  If you are not following us and do use social media, you can follow us on Twitter, Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn and access our audio channel on YouTube. You will also find our series of podcasts on all the major podcast hosting platforms or here.

On Thursday we promoted a course aimed specifically at those that are trained to teach MBCT programmes and work with OCD patients. We are delighted to welcome Dr Fabrizio Didonna to the OMC to offer this is a 2 day training where the content and curriculum of MBCT for OCD is explored.  The online interactive training will include videos of real MBCT for OCD groups, descriptions of session themes, curricula, and samples of client handouts and practice transcripts. https://bit.ly/30a6ql6

On Friday we took the opportunity to again share some resources we hope our followers and subscribers will find useful, interesting and hopefully enlightening.
‘Meditation myths dispelled’ is a mini series of posts we are running on our social media channels, taken from the widely acclaimed ‘Mindfulness: A Practical Guide to Finding Peace in a Frantic World’ by Mark Williams and Danny Penman.

Another resource from which we have been sharing quotes is ‘Mindfulness: Ancient Wisdom Meets Modern Psychology’ by Christina Feldman and Willem Kuyken.

Both books, plus other recommended reading are available to purchase via links at the bottom of our resources page here.

Yesterday we supplied links to some interesting articles from our friends at mindful.org. These two articles explore approaches for thriving within discomfort and help us discover how to nurture the positive in difficult times. We found them both interesting and we hope you do to:
